We used VOSTS instrument for preservice science teachers four years ago in Turkey. We liked to use it although we had to translate it into Turkish. The main problem we had was that we could not figure out how to analyze students' response quantitatively. In addition, we would recommend folk who would like to use that they should ponder their own social and cultural norms because VOST was experimentally developed for Canadian students within the context of culture.
