We are assessing impact of a visit to our aquarium on people's views/opinions/ideas of science. We need a broad enough of an instrument to apply to a diverse range of visitors which has been challenging to find. The ROSE has some nice sub-scales we can choose from to use in our context, obviously ommitting the school specific ones. Right now we are still reviewing the instrument and looking at its potential applicability in our context and then may try it in some pilot tests. I'd be happy to provide more reviews after that time. A strength of the ROSE is its wide use and in international contexts. Though it is quite lengthy, as others have pointed out, which can be difficult to implement if you have a subject with a short attention span, like visitors to informal sites. Because of this and the school specific nature of it we will need to modify.
